Say No to Sex Discrimination at Prada
Stop Listing Discriminatory Brand! 
      Since 2009 Prada Japan have been involved in a case of sexual discrimination, harassment and unfair dismissal. It is also suspected of faking sales figures by forcing its staff to buy its products. The lady involved, Rina Bovrisse, filed for lawsuit in Tokyo in 2009, and brought her case to the attention of the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women last year. As yet the case is still unresolved. At the same time, Prada's initial public offering (IPO) was launched on June 17 and the shares will start trading in Hong Kong on June 24. Prada has made attempts of IPO for four times since 2001, but all had failed. 
      Rina has sought help from Hong Kong labour groups and women groups. We are deeply surprised and offended by the discriminatory action of such a world renowned brand. Prada should publicly account for its action before it is allowed to be listed in Hong Kong. 
      Invited by the Asian Transnational Corporations Monitoring Network (ATNC), the Association for the Advancement of Feminism (AAF) and other labour and women rights concern groups in Hong Kong, Ms. Rina Bovrisse and two representatives of the Action Centre for Working Women in Japan will come to Hong Kong on 20 June. Ms. Rina Bovrisse will attend the press conference and protest at Prada stores and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited.
